Dear Colleague
Firstly, Happy New Year! I hope that you had a lovely festive break with time to re-charge and recover from the exertions of last term, and are ready to take on the challenges of this one - especially in relation to winning a fair pay rise for all of Scotland's teachers.
As you will know, the EIS is calling its members out on strike on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Members have received individual emails indicating which day they should be withdrawing their labour.
We look forward to seeing you on picket lines, at local rallies and on social media, resplendent in green and pink, as you were on 24th November!
Ahead of each strike day the EIS is holding an early evening online rally, where we will continue building the Pay Attention campaign, give the latest updates and look ahead to the following days of action when we know we will see another nation-wide display of EIS members being strike-strong in pursuit of fair pay.
