Join us for a pick and mix of five online workshops, 5.30pm-6.30pm, led by Educational Psychologist James McTaggart, exploring aspects of community wellbeing.

How our bodies and brains react to events, how stress can help us, and how we can notice and keep control of it.

Tuesday 19th November Leaving stress at work

Why it can be difficult to “switch off” even when it is what we, and our families, most need.  Some approaches and strategies to help us leave work stress at work.

Tuesday 26th November  Sleep

“All I need is a good night’s sleep!” But sleep can be hard to find when we have a lot of challenges and worries.  We’ll look at why, and what we can do to get the rest we need.

Tuesday 3rd December Working in a difficult environment

Staff wellbeing is not just down to the staff.  It should never be just a sticking plaster to help us cope.  But also we can’t build positive workplaces alone. Some reflections and strategies on promoting wellbeing in working environments that might be undermining it.

Tuesday 10th December Living well

Managing stress and challenges isn’t just about coping – it is about living our full lives and flourishing. A hopeful session looking at how we can live well even under stress.
