In the time it takes to make a cup of tea, refill the coffee pot, wander to the window to check out the weather or what the outside world is up to, we can take a few minutes away from the screens or paperwork in front of us to plan activities that will positively support our wellbeing.
Join us daily or when you are able, to take a little bit of time for yourself, away from work and other routine duties, to help you keep well mentally, emotionally and physically.
Let us know if the ideas of EIS colleagues have inspired you into action on Twitter @EISUnion.
We warmly welcome your ‘tea break ideas’, which can be anything from a mindful activity that you find helpful, to a recipe you enjoy making at home. Please include links to useful information that we can share for others to try out your ‘tea break idea’, and email to Pauline at pmccolgan@eis.org.uk.
