EIS Education Convener, Susan Quinn, provided evidence to the Scottish Parliament's Education, Children and Young People's Committee.
During the evidence session Susan highlighted the challenges facing teachers when it comes to assisting children with ASN, including the decline of specialised support staff, the need for sufficient resources and the lack of access to specialised schools.
