Dr Kai Heron
Dr Kai Heron is a lecturer in Political Ecology at Lancaster University and a co-director of the progressive think tank Abundance.
Kai researches the social and ecological effects of competing visions of the global 'green transition', with a focus on agricultural systems and global justice.
He is a co-editor of the De Gruyter Handbook of Degrowth (2024) and a co-author of Radical Abundance: How to Win a Green and Democratic Future (forthcoming, Pluto Books 2025).
