Instrumental Music Tuition in schools is a core component of music education and plays a significant role in delivering National Qualifications in music.
Despite this, we are seeing a continued erosion of Instrumental Music Provision, with proposed cuts to services resulting in a series of annual battles. This petition urges the Scottish Government to provide adequate funding to Local Authorities to sustain and grow Instrumental Music Services, and deliver on their manifesto commitments relating to Instrumental Music Tuition:
