Clackmannanshire LNCT Policies, Procedures and Agreements
Here we publish a selection of active policies, procedures and agreements approved by the Clackmannanshire Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers. Clackmannanshire Council's own archive of these materials is accessible only via intranet and the so-called "J:-drive" on a server at the Council offices (Kilncraigs). EIS Clackmannanshire has frequently raised at LNCT the issue of access to these and other resources and, whilst the Committee has asked IT Services to make remote access available to employees, this has never materialised. Accordingly, the Exec sought and obtained agreement of the LNCT to publish the resources here on our website. They are presented as PDFs which each open in a new page.
A national statutory body, the SNCT (Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers), with representation from the teachers' unions, local authorities and the Scottish Government, agrees and publishes the pay scales and national conditions of service of all teachers employed by local authorities. Each local authority also has a local statutory body (LNCT) to negotiate local policies, procedures and agreements affecting the devolved (non-reserved) conditions of service of teachers employed by the local authority. A separate page holds an archive of minutes of the proceedings of Clackmannanshire LNCT.
