Generative AI in Higher Education
This year’s conference was held at the Voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow and was in two parts.
The first part of our conference focussed on a discussion of Generative AI in Higher Education with speaker Professor Mairead Pratschke, Chair of Digital Education at The University of Manchester.
The normal AGM followed with motions submitted by EIS Branches and an update on the national negotiating picture was discussed in the afternoon. The conference concluded with a final Q&A session with Professor Pratschke followed by dinner in the evening at the Voco Grand Central Hotel for all delegates and guests.
Conference sets policy for the EIS-ULA for the coming year and is your chance to get involved in debating and setting that policy.
