EIS National AGM

Created on: 04 Jul 2018 | Last modified: 31 Mar 2025

EIS National AGM

Institute policy comes from the motions debated at the national AGM held in June each year.  This process starts with motions submitted by members to their Local Associations for debate at a locally organised general meeting.  Motions passed at this meeting will go forward to be considered for debate at the National AGM in the name of Edinburgh Local Association.

This is your opportunity as an EIS member to make your views known to influence EIS policy and actions.

The next national AGM will take place on 5,6 and 7 June 2025 in Aviemore.

Motions Submitted to the National AGM 2025

Please send any amendments to edinburghla@eis.org.uk by 10am on Wednesday 23rd. Amendments are intended to improve or clarify motions, not change their intent.  If  one disagrees with a motion, then one speaks against it at the AGM.
