EIS subscription comprises a National subscription, a Local Association subscription and a Political Fund subscription (optional).

How do I pay? 

You can provide your payment details by logging into MyEIS and updating your details online, fill in a Direct Debit Mandate and sending to our membership department by email or by post to:

Subscription Types

Full Subscription
A member employed for more than 50% of the normal working week.

Half Subscription
a) a member employed for 50% or less of the normal working week.
b) a supply or occasional teacher who may be called upon at any time and at short notice to teach for periods, the duration of which is unknown or uncertain

Sick Leave
Members on long term sick leave continue to pay subscription while in receipt of salary. When half-pay ceases Membership department must be advised to ensure that no further subscriptions are deducted.

Family Leave
Members on family leave continue to pay subscription while in receipt of salary. No subscription is payable while in receipt of Statutory Pay only or while on unpaid family leave. Members should contact Membership department to ensure subscription is not deducted in error.
