Join the University of Strathclyde online on Mondays 10th and 24th February, and 3rd March, from 4pm-5.15pm.
This course will explore the Health and Wellbeing of Children and Young People in Scotland, through a range of lenses. The series of three sessions will enable participants to learn about founding principles and critically consider their role as a practitioner.
The course will explore the following themes:
Children’s mental health and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
Safeguarding implications for children and young people because of domestic violence, neglect and parental substance dependence.
Safeguarding children and young people online (digital safeguarding).
Participants should be aware that this course contains difficult content in relation to children and young people’s experiences.
